DESCRIPTION
• on coach’s command first player from each line dribble zig zag around cones and then pass to each other before they are allowed to shoot on goal
• defender attempts to prevent at least on attacker from shooting
• players waiting in line pass to each other until their turn comes up
VARIATION
• same as before but only player has a ball (2v1)
• adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group
COACHING POINTS
• quality of preparation touch
• get the shot off as quickly as possible
• aggressive and positive mentality
• if the goalkeeper charges out – slot the ball under him or dribble around him
• defender must force attacker to one side
• close down shooter quickly

DESCRIPTION
• teams score by knocking down the cones on the opponents goal line
• players put cones back up
VARIATION
• play 2v2, 4v4 etc.
• cones stay down
• scoring shot must come on a first touch
• add a neutral player
• limit number of touches
• adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group
