During a soccer game, the moments of ball possession are extremely important for controlling the game. The team in possession of the ball can make it circulate among the players of its team, allowing the opening of spaces, the imbalance of the opposing team, and the creation of true goal-scoring opportunities.
By itself, ball possession during a game does not mean a good performance by the team or a certain victory. In the game, the moments of ball possession must be followed by real moments of imbalance and with the best finishing. Therefore, ball possession should be a means to achieve goals and not an end.
To help coaches develop the ball possession skills of their teams more effectively, we have prepared a new video full of ball possession exercises.
