DESCRIPTION
• each team defends 3 cone goals
• one neutral target player in each of the outer channels
• target players must stay in their channel
VARIATION
• neutral players can leave their channel but cannot be in the same channel simultaneously
• team must complete a pass to a neutral player before they can score
• use mini goals instead of cone goals
• adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group
COACHING POINTS
• quick decision making
• constant movement
• communication is vital
• good angle and distance of support to receive ball

• shift as a unit
• switch point of attack

• servers distribute/throw the ball from the outside
• attackers head the ball back
• defenders can challenge their partner for the ball
• switch roles after 2-3 minutes
VARIATION
• attackers volley it back
• players are awarded a point if the server can catch the ball with
