DESCRIPTION
• 5 attackers vs 2 defenders
• attackers keep possession and play from one to the other grid across middle zone
• one defender is allowed to pressure and win the ball
• other defender can only stay inside middle zone attempting to intercept a pass
• once the pass is made to the other grid the defenders switch roles
• pass giver must follow into other grid to support
• switch roles every 3-5 minutes
VARIATION
• attackers must complete 2-3 passes before they can pass to other grid
• add an extra defender
• limit number of touches
• adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group

• quick passing
• angle, distance and timing of support
• vision
• body position – open to field
• decision making
• verbal and visual communication

DESCRIPTION
• red team starts with the ball and three blue players (defenders) go over to their area to try to win the ball
• red team plays one or two touch keep-away
• if a defender wins the ball, he has to pass it back over to his area on his first or second touch
• three red players then go into the blue team’s area to do the same

• vary number of defenders
• adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group
