DESCRIPTION
• players play 4v2 two-touch keep away
• two players in the middle need to touch the ball to get out
• defenders stay in the middle for another turn if a pass splits them
• players on the outside must stay on the line to pass and receive
• any player that gives away possession goes in the middle
VARIATION
• one-touch passing only
• play 4v1, 5v2 etc.
• adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group
COACHING POINTS
• weight of pass
• accuracy
• disguise
• communication
• quick decision making

DESCRIPTION
• 2v2 with 2 target players in each half
• team in possession has to make at least three passes in the grid before they can play to a target player of the other grid
• they can score again by repeating the feat and returning to the grid, following a pass to a target player
VARIATION
• limit number of touches for target players
• adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group
COACHING POINTS
• importance of first touch to control and prepare ball
• players should accelerate towards the ball
• constant movement
• communication is vital
• good angle and distance of support to receive ball
